Mind Matters Counselling LLP has an exciting opportunity for an accredited counsellor (online using Zoom
and/or face-to-face in Leeds) to join our existing team on a self-employed basis.

Mind Matters Counselling welcomes applications from experienced, accredited Counsellors who can provide at least 5 hours per week online or, if within travelling distance of Leeds, on-site at the organisation's premises.

The successful applicant must be able to start in August 2025 and be available for a minimum of 12 months in order to be considered for this position.

NB  Fee is GUARANTEED for the hours the successful applicant provides, even if booked clients do not attend.

Applicants should:

• Hold a recognised Diploma or Degree qualification in counselling/psychotherapy/
  counselling psychology. 
• Be an accredited practitioner with BACP (or hold equivalent accreditation status with an
  alternative awarding body)
• Have experience in assessment and formulation processes, including experience in
  initial risk assessment.
• Have significant experience in providing both brief, solution-focused interventions
  and CBT. 
• Have a working knowledge of psycho-educational resources and online CBT-based
  self-help modules.  
• Have experience of counselling in a workplace setting and experience of working with clients who are experiencing work-related problems.
• Have good organizational, administrative and IT skills.
